藤吉隆雄（ふじよし・たかお）

写真家です。研究と執筆もします。
業界にはボクを「とーきち」と呼ぶひともいます。
雑誌の現場でプロカメラマンとして撮りはじめ、最初の18年間、かなりいろいろなものを撮ってきました。
建築、人物、芸能、取材、空撮、ブックもの、記録写真。
なんと、個展も20回やっています。意外と多い。
村上春樹さん、大島渚さん、バブルガムブラザーズを特写したことがあります。
自衛隊機の空撮もやりました。
北陽さんのブックをはじめ、まるごと一冊撮影した仕事もあります。
元・日本雑誌写真記者会会員。現在は日本写真協会会員。
2004年には、カメラグランプリ選考委員を務めました。
そういう業界の札も少しありますが、いちばん大事なのは、いま何を撮るかです。
撮影だけでなく、写真論、マンガ論、メディア論、コミュニケーション論、ジャーナリズム論も扱います。
ジャーナリスト賞や学会賞をもらったこともあります。
あいちサイエンス・コミュニケーション・ネットワークでは、初代事務局コーディネーターも務めました。
名古屋大学、北海道大学、国立情報学研究所で科学技術コミュニケーションに関わり、大学ではコミュニケーション、イベント、社会学、化学、光学なども教えてきました。
いまの博士研究は、ブルーインパルスと社会の相互作用です。
でも、中心にあるのはやっぱり写真です。
美しさ、女優性、匿名性、仮面、身体、都市、航空機、展示飛行、写真集。
研究も、文章も、展示も、最終的には撮影へ戻ってきます。
コーヒーとビール、美しさ、考えること。
そして、写真を作ること。
一緒に遊びたいですね。

FUJIYOSHI Takao
I live in Tokyo. I am 55 years old.
I am a photographer. I also conduct research and write.
Some people in the photography world call me “Tohkichi.”
I began photographing professionally in magazine publishing and spent the first 18 years of my career photographing a wide range of subjects.
Architecture, portraits, entertainment, reporting, aerial photography, book-length assignments, and documentary work.
I have also held 20 solo exhibitions—more than you might expect.
I have photographed Haruki Murakami, Nagisa Oshima, and the Bubblegum Brothers for magazine features.
I have also carried out aerial photography of Japan Self-Defense Force aircraft.
My book-length assignments include photographing an entire book featuring the comedy duo Hokuyo.
I am a former member of the Japan Magazine Photographers Association and a current member of the Photographic Society of Japan.
In 2004, I served on the Camera Grand Prix selection committee.
These are some of my professional credentials, but what matters most is what I photograph now.
In addition to photography, I work with photographic theory, manga studies, media studies, communication studies, and journalism studies.
I have received both a journalism award and an academic society award.
I also served as the first secretariat coordinator of the Aichi Science Communication Network.
I have worked in science and technology communication at Nagoya University, Hokkaido University, and the National Institute of Informatics. At university level, I have taught communication, event-related subjects, sociology, chemistry, optics, and related subjects.
My current doctoral research examines the interaction between Blue Impulse and society.
Photography remains at the center of everything I do.
Beauty, the presence of the actress, anonymity, masks, the body, cities, aircraft, aerial displays, and photobooks.
Research, writing, and exhibitions all return, in the end, to photography.
Coffee and beer, beauty, and thinking.
And making photographs.
I would like to play and experiment together.
