藤吉隆雄（ふじよし・たかお）
藤吉隆雄は、東京の研究写真家。Research-based Photographer。
建築デザイン専門誌『AXIS』、サブカル週刊誌『SPA!』でキャリアをスタート。
香港『EASY FINDER』のストリンガー、カタール・ドーハ『Al Jazeera TV』のメディア学校スタッフとして活動し、アカデミアへ。
名古屋大学・北海道大学・国立情報学研究所では科学技術コミュニケーションを担当。
博士研究は「ブルーインパルスと社会の相互作用」。社会学専門は「都市メディアと身体表象」、理系専門は「写真印刷工芸科学」。
藤吉隆雄の写真活動はひとつのジャンルに留まらず、メディア、社会、科学の境界を移動してきた。
FUJIYOSHI Takao, PhD Candidate
FUJIYOSHI Takao is a Tokyo-based Research-based Photographer.
He began his career with the architectural and design magazine AXIS and the subculture weekly SPA!.
He later worked as a stringer for Hong Kong’s EASY FINDER and as a media school staff member at Al Jazeera TV in Doha, Qatar, before entering academia.
At Nagoya University, Hokkaido University, and the National Institute of Informatics, he worked in science and technology communication.
His doctoral research explores the interaction between Blue Impulse and society. His sociological fields are urban media and bodily representation; his science/technical field is Photographic Printing Craft Science.
FUJIYOSHI’s photographic practice has not remained within a single genre. It has moved across the borders of media, society, and science.
